Unter \u201eWildlife-Crime\u201c versteht man alle illegalen T\u00e4tigkeiten, wie der Handel, das T\u00f6ten etc. von gef\u00e4hrdeten Wildtieren oder auch Wildpflanzen.<\/p>\n<p>Die Sch\u00fcler*innen erhielten im Laufe des Semesters Fachvortr\u00e4ge und Workshops verschiedener (internationaler) Forschungsgruppen und Institutionen. Zudem sollten sie auch selbst in ihren Bekanntenkreisen oder auf der Stra\u00dfe Umfragen durchf\u00fchren und zu Wildtierhandel in Gesch\u00e4ften und Online-Shops recherchieren. Zum Abschluss wurde ein Folder, ein Social-Media-Beitrag und eine Vitrine f\u00fcr unsere Schule gestaltet, die auch andere Sch\u00fcler*innen und Lehrer*innen f\u00fcr dieses Thema sensibilisieren sollen. \u00a0Abgeschlossen wurde das Projekt mit einer Pr\u00e4sentation der Rechercheergebnissen im Naturhistorischen Museum.<\/p>\n<p>Nachfolgend wurden die einzelnen Highlights des Projekts von <strong>Nada (8A)<\/strong> zusammengefasst:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kick-Off-Veranstaltung im Naturhistorischen Museum: <\/strong>Am 27.1.223 ging es f\u00fcr die Sch\u00fcler*innen aus der 7A und der 7B in das Naturhistorische Museum, wo sie vom Organisator*innenteam in das Thema Wildtierkriminalit\u00e4t eingef\u00fchrt und aufgekl\u00e4rt wurden. Dabei stellten sich alle Projektpartner*innen vor. In verschiedenen Workshops (z.B. Februar 2023 besuchten die Sch\u00fcler*innen die UNO City, wo sie in einem echten Sitzungssaal die M\u00f6glichkeit hatten, eine Konferenz zum Thema Wildlifecrime nachzuspielen. M\u00e4rz hatten die Sch\u00fcler*innen die Chance sich live bei einer Zoom Konferenz mit einer Forscherin aus einer Snake Farm in Bangkok zu unterhalten. Dabei wurden sie zum Thema Wildtierkriminalit\u00e4t in Bangkok aufgekl\u00e4rt. M\u00e4rz 2023 ging es f\u00fcr die Sch\u00fcler*innen in die Herpetologische Sammlung des Naturhistorische Museums, wo sie das Vergn\u00fcgen hatten, verschiedene F\u00e4lle von Wildtierkriminalit\u00e4t (z.B. Tod eines Raubvogels) selbst zu l\u00f6sen und zu pr\u00e4sentieren. April war das WPF Biologie beim Zollamt am Flughafen Schwechat, wo sie \u00fcber das Aufsp\u00fcren von CITES-gesch\u00fctzten Lebewesen lernten.
